In her 20s she broke barriers as one of the first female computer sales reps in the world. In her 30s and 40s, she built successful companies and lived what many would call the American Dream. Yet, beneath all the achievements, something essential was missing. She had success, but she did not have purpose.
That honest realisation became the turning point that redirected her life toward a deeper mission.
The Courage to Redefine Success
Lori described how standing at the top of her career mountain did not feel like victory. It felt like emptiness. That moment taught her a profound truth. Success without meaning will always fall short.
Instead of settling, she began listening to the quiet voice within, the whisper that kept urging her to act on something bigger than herself. She followed that inner nudge all the way to Ethiopia, where she founded the Global Team for Local Initiatives and dedicated her life to humanitarian work. Today, her efforts have touched more than 100,000 lives.
