Feed The Children

We have the passion and vision to make the festive period a special, memorable moment for children who are less privileged, living on the streets or in orphanages. Our goal is to provide them with food, drinks, stationery, toiletries and some gifts with the money we raise. This mission to FEED THE CHILDREN began in 2022 as a way to put a smile on the faces of children who often don’t have enough to eat.

Feed The Children 2024

On Christmas Day (25th December 2022), we fed children on the streets of Ibadan, Nigeria. This was made possible with the help, love and donations from main collaborator STECHAD as well as from friends of the MIRROR TALK podcast.

We made a short video showing the places visited and some of the souls impacted on 25th December 2022. Every cent and penny made all the children smile. It made the Christmas celebration special and memorable for them—special thanks to everyone who participated, in one way or another, in the success of this project. NEXT YEAR WILL BE GREATER. We are grateful. Apart from the generous donation from STECHAD, we were able to raise funds from podcast advertisements, sponsors, and our amazing friends and family of MIRROR TALK.

2023

In the spirit of giving and spreading joy, we extend our warmest gratitude to all the wonderful individuals who contributed to our charity FEED THE CHILDREN Christmas outreach for children in Nigeria. Your generosity has touched countless hearts and made a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. Thanks to your kindness, we were able to provide not only nourishing food but also essential school supplies to bright and eager young minds. Your contributions have helped create smiles, inspire dreams, and foster hope for a brighter future.

FEED THE CHILDREN 2023

Once again, thank you for being a beacon of light in the lives of those less fortunate. Your compassion has created ripples of positive change that extend far beyond the holiday season. Together, we’ve shown that the true magic of Christmas lies in the warmth of human hearts coming together to make the world a better place.

2024

The hum of innocent laughter, the spark of hope in young eyes, and the unwavering resilience of the human spirit—these are the moments that remind us why giving back is not just an act of kindness but a responsibility we must all embrace. Recently, we embarked on a life-changing journey, visiting homes that embody both heartbreak and hope. It was an experience that touched our souls and ignited a fervent desire to do more.

The First Stop: A Home for Abandoned Babies, Orphans, Disabled Children, and Juveniles

Imagine a home filled with over 100 beautiful, vibrant children who, despite facing unimaginable challenges, continue to smile and dream. This was the heartwarming yet humbling reality we encountered. We came bearing gifts—foodstuffs to fill their bellies, provisions for their daily needs, clothing to keep them warm, and stationery to nurture their education. Yet, as we spent time with them, we saw the gaps that remained. Many children lacked proper clothing, good beds to rest their weary bodies, and access to the basic amenities that most of us take for granted. It was impossible not to feel overwhelmed by their resilience and courage. These children reminded us that hope is a light that refuses to be extinguished, even in the darkest of circumstances. But it also reminded us that their light needs fuel—our love, resources, and unwavering support.

The Second Stop: A Home for Disabled People

Our journey continued to a home that shelters and educates disabled individuals from the tender age of seven and above. These individuals are remarkable, attending school despite the physical and emotional hurdles they face daily. We had the privilege of providing foodstuffs, provisions, and stationery for about 60 residents, knowing that these essentials would offer some relief and comfort. Their gratitude was profound, their smiles a testament to the power of kindness. But, as we engaged with them, it became clear that their journey is far from easy. The need for consistent support, better educational resources, and enhanced living conditions is urgent.

A Call to Action

While our efforts brought some immediate relief, the challenges faced by these homes are far greater than what one visit can solve. These children and individuals need more—more love, more resources, more people willing to extend a helping hand. This is where we need you. Together, we can be the difference. We can provide these homes with the clothing, bedding, educational tools, and basic amenities they so desperately require. No contribution is too small—every little bit counts.

How You Can Help
  1. Donate: Whether it’s clothes, food, money, or time, your contributions can transform lives.
  2. Volunteer: Your presence and skills can bring hope and joy to these homes.
  3. Spread the Word: Share this message with friends, family, and your community. Together, we can create a ripple effect of kindness.
A Journey Worth Taking

This outreach reminded us that charity is not a one-time act; it’s a commitment to lifting others, to being the change we want to see in the world. These homes need us—not just today, but tomorrow and every day after. Let us join hands to ensure that no child feels abandoned, no individual feels forgotten, and no dream goes unfulfilled. Together, we can be the family they never had and the support they so desperately need.

Thank you for standing with us, for believing in this cause, and for helping us bring love, hope, and light to those who need it most. Let’s make a difference—one life at a time.

If you’re moved by this cause, please reach out to us. Let’s write the next chapter of this story together—a chapter filled with compassion, action, and endless possibilities.
